The valve can be used for hot water space heating boiler applications to protect against excessive pressure. It features an iron body with a forged bronze inlet, non-metallic disc-to-metal seating, and a test lever. Includes a nonrestrictive discharge drain line flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert(R) technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. Sensor activation requires the purchase of an activation kit that can be connected to existing building management systems or the Watts Cellular Gateway.
